URC Southern Synod - Trust, Property & Legals

The Synod Property Officer works full time and is based at the Synod Offices in Croydon. He gives legal and administrative support to the Synod through his role as Secretary to the Property Committee and to the Synod Trust Company by serving as its Assistant Company Secretary. To the local churches he gives advice on matters pertaining to property.

Guy has lived in Gravesend, Kent for most of his life and has been a member of the United Reformed Church since its inception. He is a nationally accredited Lay Preacher and an Elder of St Paul’s URC, Gravesend. Guy is married with a daughter and his interests include walking, travelling, reading and visiting historical buildings. He commenced his duties as Synod Trust Secretary in April 2004, after having worked in industry for thirty years as an Accountant.
