All honorary posts are for 3 years, in practice until 31st December 2010, unless otherwise shown in brackets.
An ACT is not a decision making body and not a council of the Church. In short, it will:
- provide support and encouragement to local churches in their mission
- advise the Synod Pastoral Committee on such issues as scoping of ministry, appointment of Interim Moderators; (similar to the work of the former District Pastoral Committees)
- give ‘local’ advice to Synod on financial, property and other matters.
